When you are stuck in the anxiety or panic trance it can seem very normal to you. In today’s podcast episode we’ll take a look at how to recognize the pattern and how to get out of it.
Anxiety is a perpetual state of fear, and panic is the result of this continued perpetual state of fear. Together they can make the world look small and limited. We then tend to look for what is wrong or could go wrong before we look for the potential. We place value on our pessimism and the moment we waver off of our fear we feel discomfort.
When stuck in the anxiety loop things can look bleak, but just cause it looks that way doesn’t mean that it is.
Anxiety and panic clouds our judgement, and with good reason from the subconscious mind I may add. fear leads to action, love leads to being content. There’s no immediate reaction with love and the subconscious mind knows this. So in its world it’s ‘better safe than sorry,’ better to be prepared for the worst rather be surprised when it shows up. Like a crying child that doesn’t get its way, it will just keep crying until it does.
The subconscious mind (inner child) can be tamed and re-directed though.
That’s the beauty of this journey that we’re on. We hold the key, as long as we are willing to face the uncertainties of change head on. Change scares many people back into comfortable fear, but never let this be you. Never succumb to surviving when you could simply be flowing with all that life has to offer.
