Q & A with Barbara
How did you first discover meditation? Who or what inspired you to meditate?
In the 1990’s while struggling with finding my purpose, a fellow writer suggested I try meditation to help me with connecting with my life’s purpose. Being my father’s daughter, I bought the Creative Visualization cassette by Shakti Gawain cassette and began a meditation practice. It was the only cassette on meditation at that time. Curiosity continued to beckon, and I studied intensely around personal development and spirituality and in 1999 she wrote her book, Why Struggle? life is too short to wear tight shoes, which as been called a “mini reference manual” for life.
